If you wish to include additional symbols of your union, such as rings, Bible, unity candles, unity rope, unity coins, or other meaningful items, we will be happy to incorporate them into the ceremony. You must provide the items.

We request these documents for your benefit, to make sure your marriage license matches all names given and used by both parties, and to avoid the hardship of making changes later.

Valid ID: California ID, driver's license, passport, or consulate ID with birth certificate.
Prior marriages
Proof of termination of previous marriages for both parties if the termination occurred within 2 years of the date of the ceremony.
Highly recommended
Birth certificates for both parties and proof of termination of all previous marriages, regardless of termination date.
